Highly versatile! This piece can be worn in several ways - around the head like a headband, around the crown of the head under the hair like in the middle pic, or strung between two buns or ponytails.
Head ornament is made from antiqued silver tribal jewelry from India, decorated with silver mirrors and lots of intricate metal work. Elastic band around back of head for a comfortable fit.
To wear this piece in the style of the center pic (looks Amazonian to me!) with elastic concealed under the hair, first separate the top half of your hair from the bottom half with two fingers running horizontally from temples to back of the head. Twist top hair into a temporary bun (so it stays out of the way) and clip, bobby pin, or whatever is easiest so it stays put. Put the tribal head ornament over hair just under the part. Let down top hair to cover elastic.
To wear this piece strung between two buns or ponytails, separate all or front half of your hair into 2 ponytails and secure with rubber bands or pony tail holders. Undo the hook that closes the tribal head ornament in back and wrap the loops of elastic around buns on both sides. For the bun style, twist hair into buns and conceal the hook inside one of them. Finish with hairsticks and a pair of my double clips if you've left some of your hair down in the back. For the ponytail style, leave the hair down, and finish with a couple of flower hair clips.
