Myspace

Tribe
I usually explain this site as a "myspace for bellydancers." It is similar to myspace, but organized into groups of people with common interest. The absolute best way to locate belly dance events in your area, but that's not all you can do with Tribe. My Tribe Profile.

The most beautiful hand-dyed silk I have seen. Very reasonably priced. If you need a veil, visit her ebay store!

Neckelmann's
This site sells spectacular beaded bras and belts, for showgirl costumes and bellydance. The beads are big, so the look is not traditional cabaret. Very nice.

Turkish Emporium
Nice import product, very good prices. If you want a hip scarf that will last forever (mine has lasted 4 years without losing a single coin) buy their knitted hip scarf HIPS12. Beaded costumes good quality also.

Moondance Belly Dance
Probably the best prices out there. I have not yet ordered anything from here, but their prices alone merit mention!

Crimson Gypsy
Very high quality product for renaissance faires - bodices boned in steel. Some bellydance stuff also.

Synari Designs
Custom Tribal Bras and belts. Absolutely gorgeous, extremely good prices, check them out!

Fire by Riz
Really cool fire props. Poi, fans, even a sword.

"Marta the Legend belly dance costumes." Absolutely drool-worthy cabaret costumes, and much more. Many unusual products I haven't seen elsewhere.

Cheeptrims
Trims, buttons, ribbon, lace, sequins, etc. Buy bulk by the spool and save lots of money.

Fire Mountain Gems
Perfectly droolworthy bead website. Every imaginable bead and finding. My source for cowrie shells. Discounted bulk pricing.

Knitting Warehouse
Great yarn resource. Major brands, prices a bit under Walmart.

Display and Costume
Cheap fabric. Their "chiffon" is actually nylon tricot, a fabric which looks like chiffon from a distance (works fine for stage) and does not fray if you don't have time to hem it! Do not wear this chiffon with coin jewelry, it will snag horribly.

SY Fabrics
An ebay seller who has a website store. (That means for you ebay prices with no waiting till the auction is up!) Best prices I have found on a variety of fabric.

Big Daddy's Gypsy Caravan
Fabric and supplies for creating renaissance costumes, and metal studs for gothic/renaissance leather work. Very nice owner! :-D

Enlightenment Dance
This is Hozhuni's website. She taught me the dance, and has been an inspiration to me over the years. If you live in Central Florida and are looking to learn bellydance, look her up! She also sells costumes from Brazil.

Pagetutor
A great resource for beginners wanting to learn how to write HTML code. Detailed tutorials, very easy to follow. CSS and elementary Javascript also covered.

Tizag Tutorials
Another HTML, CSS, and Javascript code website. Contains more code that I have no experience in. Organized well to use for reference tool, not recommended for beginners.

Siteground
My web hosting service. The best deal I have found. Allows me to store images for ebay in addition to my website.

The Javascript Source
Contains code for lots of interesting little javascript functions. My advice, however, is use sparingly!

thesitewizard
Excellent resource. Lots of free tips, tutorials and articles on web design, promotion, earning revenue, PHP, JavaScript, and CGI. Best of all, they're all free.
