I have a problem. I cannot seem to buy a costume or article of clothing from the store and take it home and wear it as is. I won't like the way it fits, or the way it is sewn, or the way the decorations are attached... I am a nit picky perfectionist. As a result, all of my personal costumes, and most of my wardrobe is either handmade or hand altered. It's great, cause it means I have a couple drawers full of awesome costumes and clothing. It sucks cause it means I also have about 20 drawers full of unfinished projects.

But once in a while I DO manage to finish something. When I do, and it's something I really like a lot, I generally draft multiple patterns and offer it for sale here. My selection of custom made belly dance costumes and clothing is all original designs, hand crafted by one of the most nit picky perfectionists out there! I hope you love and enjoy them as much as I do. ;-)

Everything offered here is custom made - which means I need creation time. My creation time is 4 to 6 weeks plus shipping time - and allows me to fill orders in the same order I recieve them - first completing my backlog then moving to newer orders.

I make my schedule the week before, and a lot of times I run into the unexpected - both with the nature of owning a business handcrafting things, and being mother to a two year old! :D If you place an order then email me the next day asking when i expect to ship, I am not going to know! I likely have about 3 weeks of orders ahead of yours that I am still working to complete within the deadline, and when I start on yours depends on how quickly I complete them.

I send out an email to all customers when I get them on the schedule to be made that gives a loose timeframe - you can expect to recieve that email around 4 weeks at most from the day you place your order.
